Welcome

I am an IT entrepreneur specialising in advanced internet architecture and web design using the latest .NET, AJAX and XHTML technologies. I am driven by the challenge of creating new businesses and have a prestigious record of achievement with major corporations. I have founded a number of software and internet companies in my career and have succeeded in many innovative and large scale projects.

In 2010 Paul Evans and I co-founded DigitisedArt, a revolutionary cloud-based service providing digital asset management solutions for the Fine Arts industry. Our open platform allows galleries, museums and collectors to create collections of digitised Fine Arts and to distribute them to trusted partners and to print and new digital media. DigitisedArt will revolutionise the way serious art is digitised, managed, presented and sold.

Visit the DigitisedArt page for more details.

Philosophy

I have a keen interest in philosophy - particularly how it relates to my other interests in computer science, genetics and evolutionary theory. In 2002 I graduated with a Diploma in Philosophy from Oxford University. I have delivered public talks on the philosophy of 'artificial intelligence' (AI) based upon much of my early work in the pioneering days of 'logic programming' and 'expert systems'.

Music

Music is a major part of my life. I am an experienced guitarist and currently play lead guitar for the rock band Storm. Lyrics to some of my original material featured can be viewed here. Full versions of some of my solo work are available as MP3 tracks here.
